See the Bigger Picture -Pre Order Mavic 2 Pro

The much hyped Mavic Pro 2 has finally been revealed with HD photos and full specifications, lets take a look at some of these photos and specs. The first will be the Mavic 2 Pro, followed by the Mavic 2 Zoom, these drones are expected to be announced on August 23rd, 2018.

There hasn’t been much buzz or hype regarding the Mavic 2 Enterprise, but we are anticipating that we see the announcement for that drone in the very near future since it would be such a huge step froward for our Law Enforcement, search and rescue, and inspection clients.

Digging Deeper

The Mavic 2 Pro has been much anticipated, which has led to a number of leaks over the past few months. Most of these leaks have been confirmed by by some of the following specifications for the Mavic Pro 2.

The leaks chart show an improvement from an 1/2.3” sensor on the Mavic Pro, to a full 1 inch sensor, built by Hasselblad, known for great color profiles and low light capabilities. We’re excited for the jump from 12mp to 2omp for stills as well. Having a variable aperture was previously exclusive to the Phantom 4 Pro line. Now the Mavic Pro 2 will join the Phantom 4 Pro by adding a variable f2.8-f11 aperture.  Previously, recording at 1080p@120fps was reserved only for the Mavic Air, however the Mavic 2 Pro is expected to do the same at 1080p and even 60fps@2.7k.

Featuring Occusync 2.o, the Mavic Pro 2 brings in a few new benefits. We are expecting 1080p transmission with up to 5 miles of range while transmitting over the 2.4 and 5.8 frequencies.

Mavic 2 Pro

The Mavic Pro (OG) changed the industry with the ability to fold, built in 4k video and 12mp on a DJI gimbal, and v.1 Occusync systems. Lets take a look at what the Mavic 2 Pro is bringing to the table.

Mavic 2 Zoom

One of the most common requests is to have a compact drone that has a zoom camera, well now DJI will have a solution with the Mavic 2 Zoom. Being able to zoom in will enhance the capabilities of those photographing wild animals and similar subjects. This is what we are expecting to see on the Mavic 2 Zoom:

• Variable 24mm-48mm lens
• f2.8 at 24mm & f3.8 at 48mm

Mavic 2 Enterprise

Unfortunately, not much has been revealed about the Mavic 2 Enterprise drone as of yet. It likely will be announced at a different time, but we are eager to learn more about it.
