DJI and Hasselblad, two major players in the drone and camera spaces have combined forces to create a integrated aerial photography and videography solution. DJI comes to the table with the Matrice M600 and Ronin-MX combo, while Hasselblad provides the A5D-50c Aerial camera.
The Matrice M600 includes a host of DJI technologies such as the LightBridge 2 video downlink system, all new A3 Flight Controller, as well as the ability to fly the newly announced Ronin-MX. The LightBridge 2 allows the user to experience a video stream at 1080p 60fps from up to 3 miles away.
The Hasselblad A5D-50C camera features a CMOS sensor along with a modifies HC 3.5/50mm-II lens( with the focus locked to infinity). The Hasselblad camera features the worlds best sensors and optics placed into a sleek, compact and modern design, this results in a platform that is sure to provide the best video and image quality.
Today’s aerial photography is more demanding than ever and Hasselblad continues to rise to the occasion, introducing more and more advanced products and applications for this exciting segment. This is especially true of the Hasselblad A5D, the latest evolution of Hasselblad aerial cameras designed for these special applications.
The new camera has been developed to deliver the image quality and reliability required by our surveying and mapping customers. Listening to their feedback we have developed a camera to encompass these needs and much more.
The DJI Hasselblad partnership also integrates the cameras controls into DJI SDK, allowing the camera to be controlled directly from the LightBridge 2 remote control.
